The Church

She couldn’t understand why her boyfriend wanted to meet at such a strange location. Although her boyfriend was adventurous and liked going out to places off the beaten path, this was strange even for him. This was different, almost creepy. She simply couldn’t figure out why he would want to meet at an abandoned church out in the sticks. She had no idea what he was planning for her, but her excitement was almost bigger than her fear. They’d been dating 

In fear, she instinctively turned to leave but was drugged by someone standing behind her almost two years and she was hoping he would propose, why else meet for a picnic lunch at an abandoned church?

When she got to the church she saw candles everywhere, it was almost romantic. Her boyfriend appeared out of what seemed like nowhere and startled her. Before she could get happy about seeing him, other people appeared. What the hell was going on? Before she could make a run for it someone snuffed her with good old fashion chloroform. She was picked up and carefully placed in the center of the room on a makeshift altar surrounded by candles, chalices, oils, and daggers.

When she came to, the last thing she heard was, “is the sacrifice ready?”
